Kazi Nazrul Islam&#8217;s path in all aspects of Bengali literature was the most fluent and close to life. So far, research and reading on Nazrul have not decreased, on the contrary, Nazrul&#8217;s practice is increasing day by day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nazrul is an unforgettable addition to Bengali consciousness<br>The need to discover Nazrul more widely is immense in order to strengthen Bengali consciousness. If we really want to know Nazrul, if we want to recover the true meaning of Nazrul&#8217;s literary works, then we must most importantly know and understand Nazrul&#8217;s spiritual life. It is impossible to know Nazrul without understanding Nazrul&#8217;s spirituality, and it is also impossible to truly decipher Nazrul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nazrul had a great affection for saints<br>Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam had a great affection for Sufi practices, i.e. religious mysticism or spirituality, i.e. Sufism. He had devotion to saints and monks since his childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He received a spiritual environment and inspiration from his very childhood. He was a servant of the shrine for a long time. It is possible that the supreme yogi Nazrul was born from there. His uncle Bajle Karim also contributed a lot to the awakening of spiritual consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From childhood, whenever he heard that a Pir, Fakir or saint had come, he would run to him. He would accompany him day after day, night after night. From that childhood, the Sufi spirit in his heart, that divine inspiration, has driven him throughout his life. His entire literature and work have a strong influence on him. Therefore, to understand his literary works, one must understand his Sufi life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spirituality in Nazrul&#8217;s entire literary work, sometimes direct, sometimes hidden<br>Nazrul started his literary work after returning from the Karachi cantonment. Since then, the rest of his life is a history of extreme poverty, humiliation, grief and slander. Above all, he always sought refuge in mystical melodies and literature. Starting from all the writings of that time, a strong light of spirituality has shone in the writings of his entire life. His rebellious poetry, written at the age of only twenty-one, is a strongly spiritual poem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To understand the rebellious poem, one must have spiritual knowledge. Without knowledge of religious secrets, the rebellious poem will remain just an oral text. In every literary work of Nazrul, religious idealism hidden within the metaphorical symbols or allegorical clothing is hidden. For those with religious knowledge, the reading of Nazrul is nothing but a superhuman religious text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kazi Nazrul Islam came into contact with many divine and spiritual scholars throughout his life. Among them were Sadhu Taracharan, Guru Niralamba Swami, Sadhu Nipendranath, Jagadananda Bajpayee, Kader Baksh Mia, Manju Khan, Umapada, Nalinikant, and finally Shri Baradacharan Majumdar. Nazrul gradually became enriched in theology. It goes without saying that his liberal outlook, regardless of caste and religion, is the fruit of the ideals of saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from his symbolic works, the extensive writings he has written directly on spirituality are also innumerable. In various forms including Shyama Sangeet, Vrindavan Geet, Murshidi, Agamani Sangeet, Shiv Sangeet, Bhajan, Bhakti Geet, Kirtan, Sufi songs, Bhava Gan, Tattva Gan, he has portrayed Sufi philosophy and the philosophy of the indivisible human being very perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yogi Jivan and his devotion to Shri Baradacharan Majumdar Mahasaya<br>Nazrul, who was very fond of Shri Baradacharan Majumdar Mahasaya, started home yoga. He started worshipping Mahashakti at one time. Nazrul called Baradacharan his yoga guru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam spent his entire life practicing spirituality and searching for the hidden mysteries of Sufi philosophy. This is reflected in all his works. In his last years, he became strongly attracted to sadhana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His health deteriorated due to heavy work in the Gramophone Company. It was then that he started practicing yoga. Most of his devotional songs were composed during that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nazrul is a very bright star in the sky of Bengali spirituality. To know Nazrul, one must understand his spirituality. Immense religious knowledge has established Nazrul not only as the greatest Sufi writer, but also as the greatest Sufi and saint of the era. Nazrul will forever shine in his glory in the sky of Bengal&#8217;s spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May the practice of Nazrul be refined. May the greatness of Nazrul be revealed.
