Time is never favorable for Sufis. Sufis, free from worldliness, have always had to endure persecution and torture from individuals or groups obsessed with worldliness. The mysterious religious discourse of Sufis has never been able to be embraced by the state apparatus or the people. Rather, a history of mountain-like slander, fatwas or torture has been written on Sufis. Yet the Sufi remains steadfast in the boundless joy of his own self-excellence. Let a thousand storms of torture blow, the Sufi remains at the peak of trumpet-like joy.

The Sufi is an eternally neutral being. As a result of the enlightenment of the divine great power, the existence of the Sufi becomes as silent as a mountain, illuminated by divine consciousness. Worldliness becomes insignificant to the Sufi. The Sufi throws away wealth, splendor, power or worldliness with hatred. He is extremely satisfied with the offer of a sackcloth blanket or a dry loaf of bread. He stands in the ultimate state of nothingness, that is, self-denial, with detached truth.

The Sufi’s country is not a geographical country. The Sufi’s country is his own physical land. In that country he is the king and king. Far from the state structure or the democratic system, the Sufi is absorbed in his own body. The Sufi resides in his own country and is always immersed in heavenly tranquility. Where there is no state, no country, no noise, no people. There is only immense peace, immense tenderness. An inexpressible feeling of divinity in one’s ownness. An infinite fascination with the vision of the divine form.

No one who follows any party, ideology, state or religion is a Sufi. He is an opportunist or self-seeker. The Sufi himself is the self-sufficient one of his own country. A being who is even slightly attracted to worldliness or is even slightly excited by the influence of any kind of power is not a Sufi. The Sufi is free from God and arrogant in the world. A lotus renewed in love and a thunderbolt for self. The life of the Sufi is written on the gallows, the fulfillment of the loss of the bones is chanted on the sound beads of the severed head. The infinite whiteness of the sky always surrounds the Sufi.

Sufi is not a narrow doctrine. Sufi is a means of expressing the Lord’s sovereignty. Sufis who are party-minded, committee-minded, sectarian, national-minded, pro-opposition-dependent, religious-minded, sectarian, or any other divided Sufis should believe in the correct Sufi ideals, learn the lesson of being steadfast in Sufi principles. Free yourself from all worldly delusions and bow down to the Supreme Being alone. Be faithful to your truth, learn to value your divinity. Avoid all forms of gross and subtle slavery immediately. Otherwise, you will lose the ability to wear the Sufi robe.
Sufis become Sufis by drinking the Ab Hayat Sanjivani at the door of death. Why is it that Sufis fear death? Remember, there is no country or culture that can contain the greatness of Sufis. The principle of Sufis is to give life to uphold their truth. The principle of Sufis is to sacrifice their bodies in order to speak their truth with an elevated mind. What is the fear of Sufis? Sufis are the charioteers of eternal joy, Sufis are the symbol of eternal life, Sufis are eternally loving beings.
Sufis come to life only after death.
