Slowly the night enters the depths of solitude
I too become wordless.
No one knows, a sun burns in the heart –
The radiant forms that pierce many darkness
A breath is born, in silence!
Every breath holds countless points
In the head, elevated like the unpronounceable Alif –
The original call floats in the soul – What is
the breath of God! Flowing with a hoo hoo sound
Across the beginning of my existence.
The Muntaha measures the boundaries of vision
I blossom as a flower on the slopes of Sinai –
Where in the fierce Urmi of my body-river
The footprints of the Lord always bubble up.
Neither in light nor in darkness.
No one knows,
your name written on the rib bone – Murshid –
burns a cruel fire with my breath towards you –
melts from the fire of monotheism – your name,
form and radiant footsteps.
In the depths of the body,
in the bottomless unconscious of the soul,
seventy thousand pairs of ghungroos vibrate –
three and a half hands of the body,
the seven layers of the sky sink into the depths of the body –
I too float in the limits of that soundless night –
by the fortune of destiny, by the fortune of miraj.
